Principal’s message

Welcome to École Joseph-Moreau!

I am very proud to be the principal of the first francophone school exclusively for junior high school level students in Western Canada!

Our students all benefit from individual coaching, specialized courses, extracurricular activities and a variety of professional support services.

It is also a great source of pride for me to work in a school named in honor of Dr. Joseph Moreau, a pioneer of the Franco-Albertan community who worked to implement francophone education in Edmonton.

To all English speaking parents of our students, past, present and future, thank you for believing, for supporting and encouraging your children in their francophone education especially at times when the language barrier may have presented its own personal challenges.  We are, and always will be, a community working together in the best interests of our children
